FAQ’s – Cost

Q. I have a quote from another company and Bay Blinds is much cheaper – why?
A. Our prices are very competitive because we sell direct from our factory and there is no middle man.

Q. Do your prices include installation?
A. Yes, our quotes are all inclusive and include all items that are required to get your blinds fully installed.

Q. Do you offer a free measure and quote?
A. Yes, we have a number of skilled representatives who travel the Bay of Plenty and Waikato every day. All of our quotes are 100% free and have no obligation.

Q. Can I bring my measurements in and buy the blinds direct from your factory?
A. Yes, but we don’t recommend it. While most people can use a tape measure, often they are unaware of the complexities of windows and how blinds fit into them, leading to costly mistakes. Our measure and quote service is free and guaranteed so it makes sense to take advantage of it.

FAQ’s – Blinds

Q. I have young children and safety is a concern. Which blinds should I choose?
A. All Bay Blinds products are designed with safety in mind. Ask our representatives about options which suit your needs.

Q. Which types of blinds can be motorised and operated by remotes?
A. Roller blinds are the most common type of blind that can be motorised. All of our motors can be operated by a remote.

Q. How long after ordering will it take to get my blinds installed.
A. Generally 2-4 weeks.

Q. How long is the guarantee on your blinds?
A. When you pay for your blinds on or before the date of installation, we provide a 3-year warranty.

Q. I have old blinds in my windows, can the installer take them down when putting up my new blinds?
A. Yes he can. There is a small extra charge which can be discussed with our sales consultant at the time of quotation.

Q. Can the installer repair some of my old blinds when installing my new blinds.
A. Sometimes. Due to the large variety of brands and components  we can’t fix everything, but if it’s one of our blinds then we normally have the required parts. Please ask us for a price when our sales consultant visits.
