At Bay Blinds, we manufacture both Fauxwood and aluminium venetian blinds. These are all custom-made in our Tauranga factory to ensure a perfect fit every time.
Fauxwood Creation 50mm or 63mm – Fauxwood is a cost-effective, robust composite that looks no different from a timber Venetian, but it is easy to clean and will look fantastic in your window for many years to come.
The slats are available as either a smooth or a wood-grain finish in a variety of white and neutral shades. Choose from a standard tilt cord or go motorised and adjust the tilt of the slats by remote or a SmartPhone App.
Aluminium Slimline 25mm – Lightweight and hard-working, our aluminium Venetian blinds are a popular choice and work well with both contemporary and ultra-modern interiors. Due to their lightweight nature, aluminium Venetians can be manufactured to fit wider windows than timber or Fauxwood Venetians. They can be pulled up and let down without undue wear and tear on the blind mechanisms. As the aluminium slats won’t absorb moisture and are easily wiped clean, they are a popular solution for both kitchens and bathrooms.
Aluminium Classic 50mm – The 50mm Aluminium Venetian Blind offers the all the features and benefits of a 25mm Aluminium Venetian, but with the wider slats it offers you a clean and uncluttered look that suits any home or office space.
One of the benefits of the wider aluminium slat is that the blind is light to lift and will stack tightly when you pull it up, giving you that connection to the outdoors that every Kiwi loves. Utilising robust aluminium and steel components, they are perfect for both residential and commercial applications.
Timber Venetians 50mm or 60mm – When we were assisting customers to create their perfect interior design, we realised the need for Timber Venetians. Instead of manufacturing these at Bay Binds it was decided to import a wide range of high-quality Norman Timber Venetians.
These are available in 28 paint and stain colour options and a variety of different control systems. Norman Venetians patented SmartPrivacy design delivers a tighter slat closure and eliminates rout holes resulting in a darker, more private room. SmartPrivacy also operates with smaller gaps within the frame so you’ll enjoy less light leakage on either side of your blind.

At Bay Blinds, we are committed to supplying & installing Venetian blinds that meet Child Safety Standards. All our Venetians are installed with a cleat, enabling the cord to be safely stored out of a child’s reach.
